  • Abstrakt: Evil as leaving Good in philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas The paper presents the Levinas concept of evil. His interpretation begins with the experience of war and therefore is unique. The problem of evil is one of the most important in the contemporary ethic and the role of E. Levinas is not to replace. He analysed very dangerous aspect of evil: the selfishness, the concentration on yourself. The responsibility is the only antidote to selfishness. The responsibility must be without borders. Levinas proposes absolute responsibility as substitution. This is the sacrifice for another man.
