- Tajemnica świętych obcowania jest katolicką prawdą wiary. Dla szwajcarskiego teologa Hansa Ursa von Balthasara i współpracującej z nim lekarki i mistyczki Adrienne von Speyr święci stanowili aktualizację i potwierdzenie prawdziwości Ewangelii, a zarazem jedno ze źródeł teologii dogmatycznej. Zasadniczym pojęciem w tej perspektywie poznawczej jest osobista misja świętych w Kościele, którą Balthasar badał, stosując metodę „nadprzyrodzonej fenomenologii”. Poszukiwał w ten sposób nowych impulsów nie tylko dla duchowości, ale także dla teologii. Jednym ze źródeł poznania świętych był dla Balthasara kontemplacyjno-mistyczny kontakt Adrienne von Speyr ze świętymi, poświadczony kościelnym imprimatur dla jej publikacji, a także teologicznym rozeznaniem Balthasara i wielu innych teologów. Celem artykułu jest, po pierwsze, rekonstrukcja Balthasariańskiej metody „nadprzyrodzonej fenomenologii” w odniesieniu do świętych, również przy wykorzystaniu publikacji A. von Speyr. Drugim krokiem jest natomiast próba wydobycia implikacji teologii świętych Balthasara i Speyr dla pedagogiki religii. Przyjęto metodę analizy tekstów obojga autorów, stanowiących przedmiot zainteresowania, z uwzględnieniem literatury sekundarnej. Konkluzją jest konstatacja ogromnego potencjału pedagogii świętych w wychowaniu katolickim, katechezie, samowychowaniu i osobowej integracji.
- The mystery of the communion of saints is a central tenet of Catholic faith. For Swiss theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar and his collaborator, the mystic and physician Adrienne von Speyr, the saints were seen as embodiments and affirmations of the Gospel’s truth, serving as a foundational source for dogmatic theology. Central to their approach is the concept of the saints’ personal mission within the Church, explored by Balthasar through his method of “supernatural phenomenology.” This approach not only provided fresh insights into spirituality but also influenced theological discourse. Balthasar’s understanding of the saints was deeply informed by von Speyr’s contemplative and mystical experiences, which were validated by the Church and supported by both Balthasar and other theologians. This article aims to reconstruct Balthasar’s method of “supernatural phenomenology” in relation to the saints, incorporating insights from von Speyr’s writings. It further explores the implications of Balthasar and von Speyr’s theology of the saints for religious education. Using textual analysis of the works by both authors, supplemented by secondary literature, the article highlights the significant potential of incorporating the pedagogy of the saints into Catholic education, catechesis, self-education, and personal integration.
