  • Abstrakt w j. angielskim: The book Polifonia przemocy: głosy z Kolumbii [Polyphony of Violence: Voices from Colombia] presents transcription and analysis of quality interviews that were conducted in Colombia in 2016. The persons interviewed were people who are engaged in the study of violence. The publication is a further exploration of an analysis, which was presented in the book Kolumbia i kultura przemocy [Colombia and the Culture of Violence], published in 2018. Examining a large range of causes of the existing situation, the principal goal of this work is the question for the possible complex, synthetic, and systemic description of the conditions of violence and its validity. The interviews are presented against the background of a current analyses of the violence but also are used for presenting an original and particularly accurate conceptualization of the drama of violence. This broad analysis of the origin of violence takes into account both the politico-economic structures and the socio-cultural reality that leads to conclusion of indelibility of the conflict, with regard to actual analysis and prevention. The grade and forms of violence can mutate and transfigure but they are not to be solved at the actual stage of reflection.
