  • Abstrakt: Facebook as the Source of Experience, Inspirations and the Development of Teachers from the Group ‘Primary Educational Teachers’ The group ‘Primary education teachers’ has been on Facebook for two years. It is directed at the teachers who want to share their work-related experience and inspirations with others. For the purpose of research I applied the analysis of contents. The purpose of the research was an attempt to provide the answer to the following questions: What are the contents of entries? What themes are started by primary education teachers? What problems do they have with relation to their profession? What kind of knowledge are they short of? What experience do they share with the others? To what extent do they inspire one another? How do they evaluate the Facebook group’s operations? The analysis of contents allows for the statement that entries consider various issues — namely, professional development, promotion, education regulations, reforming education, forms of teacher advancement, methodological materials inquiries: scenarios of lessons, class and school events, child diagnosis sheets, tests of school achievements. The teachers also share the websites addresses which are the sources of inspirations, recommend interesting publications and articles related to teaching, upbringing, working with a disabled child, they present some examples of visual and technical works along with the details how to make them, as well as some genuine methodological solutions considering i.e. assessment for learning. The analysis of teachers’ entries (the teachers being at various age and possessing diversed employment and advancement history) can serve as inspiration for some academic teachers while creating plans and programmes of teachers-to-be and methodological consultants and advisers.
