Abstrakt: Digital technology offers new opportunities to foster decolonial action related to the creation of knowledge. However, the underlying artificial intelligence systems of this technology still bear the marks of a colonial past and are themselves calling for decolonisation. Only the balanced use of the knowledge of the Global South and the Global North will contribute to the creation of multiple knowledge. In this article, the author presents the issues of knowledge decolonisation and then points out the necessity to epistemically reveal the colonising elements present in artificial intelligence.
