  • Abstract in English: The source of the term “new man” should be sought in the Bible. It means a person who has accepted the message of the Gospel, making them capable of exceeding the borders of their own limitations and striving to reach maturity in both the natural and religious dimensions and thus living in harmony with themselves, other people and with God. The article presents the potential to become a new person inspired by Ignatian (Jesuit) pedagogy. The importance of openness to God and undertaking work on oneself in order to bring goodness to one’s environment through qualities such as self-awareness, ingenuity, love and heroism is emphasized.
